Why we built this

QuantumWolff exists because the world's most important calculations — the chemistry behind medicine, energy, and materials — are trusted every day without anyone able to prove how right or wrong they are. We thought that deserved an answer.

Three convictions drive us. First, energy: today's answers are chased with ever-larger machines burning ever-more power. A method that certifies the answer on ordinary hardware does more with far less — computation that respects the planet it is meant to help.

Second, access: quantum-grade insight should not be locked behind a billion-dollar quantum computer that only a handful of institutions will ever touch. We wanted to put certified quantum chemistry within reach of any lab, any team, any curious mind — no exotic hardware required, no waiting for a machine that may never arrive on time.

Third, proof of a point: that a vision, held with focus and refused the luxury of drifting, becomes real. QuantumWolff was not built as a job. It was built out of sheer enthusiasm and the stubborn belief that concentrated effort can move mountains — that curiosity, followed honestly and without shortcuts, delivers things the cautious said were impossible.

We are early, and we are honest about it. But every certificate we ship is a theorem, not a hope — and each one is a small proof that the bigger idea is sound. From here the horizon only widens: more molecules, more industries, more of the world's guesswork turned into something you can actually trust. How far it goes, we intend to find out.

An industry built on unverifiable numbers

Pharmaceutical R&D ranks drug candidates and designs synthesis routes using computed molecular energies. The industry-standard tools produce excellent numbers with no error bars and no guarantees — when two packages disagree, nothing inside either can say which is wrong. The exact method dies exponentially at molecules of trivial size. Quantum hardware promises to help someday; its outputs are unguaranteed estimates too.

Classical simulation codes

Fast, mature, everywhere — and structurally unable to certify anything. Estimate-based methods approach the truth from one side only, with no bound on their own error.

Quantum hardware software

An entire sector — programming kits, error mitigation, control stacks — built to serve machines that are not ready, whose eventual outputs will also arrive without guarantees.

QuantumWolff computes a rigorous lower bound — a floor — on a molecule's true energy. The floor is a theorem, not a heuristic: valid by construction, independently checkable, impossible to inflate. Paired with any standard estimate, it brackets the truth.

One engine, many industries

At its core, QuantumWolff is a certified-bound engine: it takes a hard optimization problem and returns a provable limit on the best possible answer. Molecular energy is the first application — but the same mathematics certifies any problem where the world runs on estimates and no one can prove how far off they are. Below is what we are building on top of that engine.

Our flagship. Certified energy floors for drug-relevant chemistry — bond strengths, reaction feasibility, and candidate ranking that come with a proof rather than a hopeful estimate.
